My name is Thomas Quoc Thai Nguyen, and I am running for City Council in Garden Grove District 3 because I believe our government should be transparent and accountable to the people.
Every neighborhood deserves equal attention. I want to ensure our city’s resources are shared fairly, so our streets and schools are safe.
Hardworking families deserve an affordable community to live in. We will cut soaring housing and utility costs.
Housing is a human right. We can end homelessness by funding permanent affordable homes, expanding mental health support, and creating stable jobs for everyone in our community.
As a local businessman, I have seen the struggle to be heard, which drives me to want to create better channels of communication with the government.
I stand for open communication and fair opportunities for all, and that is why I’m asking for your support. Together, we can build a stronger Garden Grove where everyone’s voice counts and the community thrives.

Why I’m Running
I humbly ask for your vote to become the next City Council Member for District 3.
As a media businessman with decades of experience, I have the expertise to make sound decisions. For 40 years, I have worked alongside business owners, laborers, and professionals throughout Orange County. I understand the challenges our community faces. A strong City Council focused on public safety, infrastructure, expedited home improvement permitting, and affordable housing will better serve our valued residents.
Throughout my life, I have committed to giving back. As your Council Member, I will ensure public participation in city government. I will prioritize business growth, job creation, practical solutions to homelessness, cultural events that showcase diversity and strengthen our vibrant community, and health and wellness programs that improve the quality of life in District 3.
I am fully committed to accountability and transparency. I will work tirelessly to make District 3 more prosperous while restoring trust in government.
